Here is another Zap that I want to share with you that I use in my business workflows.
Although I am using GetMyInvoices to fetch the invoices from the various platforms that I am using and to forward it to my accounting software Fastbill,
there are still some services that are not included in the supported software list.
Luckily, those invoices are sent to me in the form of a PDF attachment via email. Hence, the manual way was to forward those emails to Fastbill in order to collect it for my Tax Lawyer.
However, sometimes I forgot to forward it, sometimes I simply missed it. Also, there are quite many from different companies that I need to forward.
As this exceeds my “Repeating Tasks Threshold” it was worth to automate it. And as Zapier is the tool to go for me, I built the following Zap.
How it works
Here is a high-level overview of the zap I created:
This is a very simple one. All it does is checking if incoming emails in GMail contain a specific subject, in this case, I wanted to forward my GSuite invoices and used the
related subject: “g suite: your invoice is available for paperlessmovement.com” and email “email@example.com”. Of course, you can replace it with whatever matches
